Owner & Artist Since 2002

Cosmetic Tattooing is NOT an exact SCIENCE!

  • No artist, can guarantee nor predict specific results! We can only give an educated guess based on our own experiences on the various skin types we have encountered.

  • No two people are the same, so for this reason . . .  there will be as many different outcomes as there are people! So for this reason, we like to play it SAFE!

  • There are many factors to consider prior to signing up, so please take the time to educate yourself before letting anyone tattoo YOUR FACE!

  • The success of any procedure relies on many variables to favorably merge, in order to produce one excellent result.

  • There is a very fine line between just enough and too much permanent makeup, and that line is different for each person, so this is a delicate process to balance, even for an experienced artist.

  • EACH SESSION IS CONSIDERED TO BE EXPERIMENTAL IN NATURE... meaning we can never know for sure, how much color YOUR skin will hold.  So we prefer to go CONSERVATIVELY on round one, then build more as time goes by. This could mean that the healed results will be too light. But that's ok, because it's so better than some people ending up too dark.  This is NOT a mistake, it's NOT a job half-done. This IS ME CARING for you.

  • By applying conservative amounts of color on round one, allows us to see how that color will heal in YOUR skin.  Then, if adjustments need to be made, the corrections are small! Wouldn't you rather clean up a spill from a cup - rather that one from a 5 gallon bucket?  I would too, so this is why I apply the same principal - TO YOUR FACE!

  • DO YOU NEED CORRECTIONAL WORK? Maybe your color is TOO DARK or POORLY shaped? We may be able to help you as SOME colors can be corrected by adding other shades to balance the color out.  If this is you, PLEASE TEXT PHOTOS TO 713-443-8999 TO SEE IF WE CAN HELP!  Be sure to include your name and what correction you are interested in.

REGARDING THE REMOVAL OR ADJUSTMENT OF COLOR... BY LAW, PERMANENT MAKEUP ARTISTS ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO PERFORM REMOVAL OF TATTOO COLOR, UNLESS THEY ARE WORKING UNDER THE DIRECTION OF A PHYSICIAN.

  • In some cases, we may be able to adjust your color without removal... however, if your needs are beyond our ability to help, we will ask you to seek out medical attention for the removal of color prior to your next application.

  • PLEASE Do your research to find out the effects of the following techniques, then choose whether you want:

  • LASER REMOVAL -  Please call us for referrals

  • SALINE REMOVAL - Must find a technician who works under a physician.

  • Once fully healed from last removal session, you may book an appointment with us for a procedure.

  • We recommend a healing window of 12 weeks before starting a new procedure.

ALL PROFESSIONALS ARE NOT EQUALLY QUALIFIED.

  • Certificates are ONLY as valuable as the effort put into the craft AFTER the class... Otherwise, it's just a piece of paper since they can be obtained in a few days.

  • Also, a person who has been working for a long time could have more (or less) talent than someone who just entered the field.

  • Find an artist that will provide both talent AND protection. What good is great work if you contract a disesase? So make sure the artist you pick is highly skilled and attentive in the sanitation and sterilization department, as well.

  • GOOD ARTISTS  understand that applying art in the skin, is not the same as applying it on paper or canvas. It takes a whole new level to get the art to heal into the skin to a degree where it looks real.

  • KEEP THIS IN MIND . . .  When you are considering your options, if the person you choose as your artist is ONLY able to do MICROBLADING, this is a strong indicator that the person has less experience than one who knows machine work.  This alone, does not mean anything other than since they are new, be sure to investigate the details further.

  • IN SOME CASES , IT MEANS... the technician may have only taken a 1-3 day course and threw a certificate on the wall, and you're about to be a guinea pig.

  • I know it's hard to believe, but our field is very loosely regulated! The only requirement BY LAW is that we buy a license from the state.  The talent/skill of the artist is not regulated at all. Anyone can do it, or at least try.

  • If things go sideways (as it sometimes can) the new technicians may not know what to do to help alleviate a problem.

  • CLIENTS should heavily consider the odds when booking an appointment with under qualified technicians.  Just because they did a good job on your friend does not guarantee great results for you. Some people are easy to work on, others are more difficult. Do you know where YOU stand?

  • Talented Artists make this work look easy. New artists know... IT'S NOT!

The term "Brows 360"  refers to a unique  style. It's not a particular procedure. It means we look at your application from all angles... starting with your personality, lifestyle, angles of the face, skin tone, Fitzpatrick scale. We even take into consideration the laxity of the skin.

We take the responsibility to create a look that works for YOU! YOU do not have to try and figure out what you need and we never forget that our canvas - IS YOUR FACE!

Our signature technique encompasses the ALL AROUND BEST combination of Microblading, Ombre and Shading techniques to give you the brows that suite YOU!

Results can last roughly 1-5 years, depending on individual circumstances. As always, multiple sessions are often required to consider the work "complete".

BEFORE YOU BOOK AN APPOINTMENT . . .

IT'S IMPORTANT TO LEARN AS MUCH AS YOU CAN ABOUT THE COSMETIC TATTOOING PROCESS!

  • I UNDERSTAND THAT I MAY NEED MULTIPLE PROCEDURES.

  • I WILL NOT CONSIDERED MY WORK FINISHED UNTIL THE FOLLOW UP PROCESS IS COMPLETE.

  • I WILL BOOK MY FOLLOWUPS WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF MY INITIAL PROCEDURE TO MAKE SURE THE WORK IS COMPLETE.

  • I UNDERSTAND THAT FOLLOWUPS ARE NOT A QUICK TOUCH UP. THEY ARE THE NEXT SET OF LAYERS DESIGNED TO CREATE MORE REALISM IN THE ART.

  • I UNDERSTAND THAT I PLAY A ROLE IN THE SUCCESS OF MY PROCEDURE.  I WILL PREPARE AHEAD OF TIME AS DIRECTED ON THE PLAN AHEAD PAGE.

  • I will start limiting and taking the recommended products, eat right, get rest and take your Arnica Montana (as directed on bottle) at least 1 week or two prior to ALL SESSIONS.

  • I WILL ALSO FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES ON THE AFTER CARE.

  • I UNDERSTAND THAT PERMETIKA BELEIVES THAT PERMANENT MAKEUP IS A BASE LINE DESIGNED TO LOOK GOOD WHEN I AM WEARING NO OTHER MAKEUP.  I UNDERSTAND THAT IF I WANT MORE THAT, I SHOULD ASK IF IT IS RECOMMENDED.

  • I UNDERSTAND THAT MY PERMANENT MAKEUP CAN BE ENHANCED WITH TRADITIONAL MAKEUP TO VARYING DEGREES FOR DIFFERENT OCCASIONS.

  • I UNDERSTAND THAT EVEN THE MOST EXPERIENCED ARTIST MAY ENCOUNTER A PROBLEM IN THE SKIN OR SOME OTHER UNEXPECTED CHALLENGE AND THE WORK MAY NEED TO BE ADJUSTED IN SUBSEQUENT SESSIONS.

  • PLEASE KNOW IN ADVANCE, THAT OUR BOOKING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. . . Unlike a hair or nail appointment, it takes A WEEK OR MORE for clients to plan.

  • When you reserve your place on our calendar, no one else can book this time and we cannot just call in another client to take your spot if you cancel or end up not showing up for your allotted appointment time.

  • During this time, we purchase supplies and arrange our time to merge with you. Our business model relies on serious minded commitment FROM BOTH ARTIST & CLIENT.

  • WE APPRECIATE YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING OUR POSITION ON THIS MATTER!

Since we start with a Conservative Approach to protect you... Multiple Perfecting Sessions are to be expected.

Do you know who is MOST appreciative of this process?  THE MINORITY... The people who hold a lot of color are a very small percentage of the population. Most people will will be very happy that we didn't apply too much color in anticipation of it fading too much because (Almost) no one wants SUPER HERO BROWS.  And since we never know, prior to the application WHO will HOLD the color, we have to play it safe on EVERY CLIENT. Even though they are the extreme minority of all the clients, they are still important - and you never know WHO will fall into this category. It could be YOU!

Followup sessions should be spaced at least 2 -3 months apart... preferably 3 to make sure the skin has reached its final healed stage. Occasionally, more or less work will be needed and will depend on a multitude of variables.

  • OUR MAIN GOAL FOR YOUR COSMETIC TATTOOING IS TO HELP MAKE YOUR LIFE EASIER. It is not normally enough to completely replace your regular makeup routine. If we get you 60-85% there, then you will never have to start your day AT ZERO.  Why not reach for 100%? We COULD, but that mean you're going to have to make sure your other makeup is always ON so that the brows don't overpower your natural beauty!

  • New clients must schedule an initial session. Follow up Sessions are only offered to clients who’s work was previously done in our studio.

  • All appointments require a NON REFUNDABLE booking fee to reserve your spot on our calendar.  We are serious about helping you, please be respectful of our time as well.

There are a variety of possible outcomes...

Applications are as varied as the number of clients who want Cosmetic Tattooing. What may be "just enough" for one person, may be barely noticeable to another.  The same principle applies to the perception of flaws.

When deciding if you like your new PMU, just try to keep in mind a few simple tips. Most of the time, you have to use the same principles as when you are checking your own makeup application:

  • LESS IS BEST for now. Add more later...

  • NO ONE sees the flaws that you see in your 20x magnification mirror.

  • YOU WON'T SEE what WE SEE if you use a 20x magnification mirror to apply your brows.

  • Save that mirror for your lashes or lipstick.

  • ALWAYS double check yourself from a distance in a REGULAR MIRROR or take a quick picture to make sure that you have not applied too much makeup. Too little is always better than too much!

We know, that every client is in search of a GRAND PERFORMANCE! And you SHOULD! This is your FACE!

It's important to understand, in advance, that artistic skill is unique to each artist. This means every artist will have their own style of work. And that style has to mesh with the expectations of the client... who, by the way, ARE ALL DIFFERENT TOO. So we take on a HUGE RESPONSIBILITY to identify the particular needs of every client and execute to the highest level possible.

The next level of concerns is this... This ART has to be placed in your SKIN! Skin that is in constant motion. Skin that is affected by the foods you eat, the medications you take as well as trying to blend in with your own metabolism in a microscopic environment that may (or may not) notice the foreign substance (our Art).  If you have a very strong immune system or if your immune system is in a heightened state, it will start fighting to remove what we just put in.

Then there are the various levels of self care going on. Some people follow all the rules while others will break out the peroxide to scrub out their new color. DO DO THAT! Most likely, what you're seeing is inflammation more than color! So... If you move into freak out mode, just remember how it looked when it was first done. Take a breath... calm down... let it heal... and we will take the next steps at your followup session.  IF YOU CANNOT CALM DOWN, CALL US instead of doing something you'll regret later... like trying to scrub it off. This will just smear the color and destroy your skin.  So please, don't do that.     : )

We have a nice selection of procedures to offer you...
