**Inclement Weather Protocol**

All appointment dates are subject to change due to inclement weather, natural disasters, personal emergencies, or sudden illness.

In the event of such event - we will notify our clients and artists via text and/or email and provide an alternate date.

If the new date works for you, please confirm it. If not, you can use the notification link in your email to select a more suitable date. For assistance, feel free to text Connie at 713-340-4422.

  • This $100 non-refundable fee is for the artist's time.
  • This fee is not a deposit and will not be applied toward the cost of your procedure since you have the opportunity to schedule in phone consultation at no charge.
  • Cancellations will forfeit 50% of this fee. ​

ALLERGY TESTING

  • Allergy Testing is not mandatory and must be requested by you at least a week in advance to allow time for a reaction to appear. 
  • This is just a precautionary measure, that does NOT guarantee that a future reaction will not occur.
  •  IF YOU ARE FROM OUT OF TOWN, WE CAN MAIL YOU A TEST.

How to Schedule Appointment

  • Click on the BOOK NOW link.

  • Select a DATE.

  • Select an ARTIST. 

    • Artist's availability is shown at the time of booking.

  • Enter your name, address, email address and your cc information to secure your appointment. ​

Keep in mind that our consultations are just for information purposely only. We do not use this time to apply traditional makeup in order to show you how a future procedure might look. We do this for a couple of reasons... 

  • It may take more time than what the appointment allows.

  • Traditional Makeup is applied ON TOP of the skin. 

  • Permanent Makeup is inserted INTO the skin so its not a fair representation of a realistic outcome.

If you need to reschedule, we’d appreciate it if you could give us at least 48 hours’ notice. Also, if you have any cosmetic procedures planned within four weeks before or after your appointment, let us know ahead of time so we can check for any possible issues.

 

DAY OF APPOINTMENT

Hey there! Just a heads up: if you show up with fresh Botox, filler, or any unhealed cosmetic work, we won’t be able to treat you without messing up your results. If that happens, you’ll lose your booking fee, and we’ll need to set a new date for your appointment, along with a new deposit to lock it in.

  • BOOKING FEES & CANCELLATIONS:  (Fees are applicable toward your procedure)​

  • BOOKING FEE FOR APPOINTMENTS . . . . Typically 50% of the cost of the service. 
​
  • BOOKING FEES are collected to make sure you remember the appointment that we reserved for you. All but the fee for a private consultation, are applicable toward the cost of the procedure. This booking fee is refundable in the event you change your mind, as long as you cancel 5-days prior to your appointment.
​
  • As a courtesy to others who may want your spot, we would appreciate notice of a week or two, if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment.
​
  • If you do not offer at least a 5-days notice of cancellation, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to reset your next appointment.​​
​
  • A reminder about the FAQ page...  You can read over the questions one by one. You can check them out by CATEGORY, or you can SEARCH for a particular answer by clicking on the Search Bar and typing in a keyword pertaining to your question.

  • PLEASE NOTE!  Our Calendar is available to you 24/7/365​

  • Our calendar fills up fast, so we always recommend reserving your follow-up sessions at the same time when booking session number 1. This step will ensure that you don't have a long wait between appointments.  If you end up not needing the additional appointments, you can bump the appointment out a few months or cancel altogether.

SELF ADMINISTERED ALLERGY PATCH TEST 

By agreeing to administer your own test, you also agree to take on any responsibility for the outcome. You must clean the area thoroughly and keep the treated area clean until fully healed. Permetika does not take responsibility for improperly executed tests. 
​

STEP 1 CLEANSE:

Wash a small area of skin on the inside of the elbow or behind the ear. Rub the area briskly with an alcohol pad. Allow the area to air dry. 
 

STEP 2 APPLY PIGMENT: 

When the test area is dry, apply a TINY drop of pigment to the cleansed area using a sterile Q-tip.  Important:  Use the SAME color from the same lot/batch# as will be used during treatment.  
 

STEP 3: LIGHTLY PRICK SKIN:

Using a lancet or sterile needle, prick the skin through the drop of pigment (as if to remove a TINY splinter). Prick 10-20 times in a small circle about the size of a mustard seed - NOT THE SIZE OF A PENCIL ERASURE! Prick just long enough to deliver some color into the skin.

STEP 4 MONITOR:

Monitor the area for the next 72 hours. The skin may itch and or sting slightly upon application, however, it should not burn or feel intensely painful. Itching may continue. This is a normal part of the healing process, so don’t worry.
​

STEP 5 FOLLOW-UP:

Follow-up with your client after 3-5 days to inquire about the condition of the tested skin patch.  
 

Analyzing the Skin Patch Test Results

As previously stated, most clients will have a slight sensitivity, stinging, or itchy feeling to the test upon application, and itching may remain as the skin heals. This is normal and not a sign of an allergic reaction. However, you should not experience burning or severe irritation that they consider unbearable.

SIGNS TO WATCH FOR:  WELTING, OOZING, SWELLING, REDNESS AROUND TREATED AREA.
 

RESULTS: NO IRRITATION AT ALL

ACTION: GREEN LIGHT GO! This skin patch test did not present any signs of allergic reactions. It is ok to proceed with scheduling the cosmetic tattooing appointment.  (See warning below).

RESULTS:  MILD TO MODERATE IRRITATION

ACTION: PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION: This skin patch test only demonstrated mild to moderate reactions., so exercise caution and consult your physician before proceeding with any cosmetic tattooing procedure. (See warning below).
 

RESULTS:  SEVERE

 Irritation, Burning, or Itching, Welting, Oozing Swelling, or Redness extending from patch tested area.
ACTION:  YOU ARE NOT A CANDIDATE FOR COSMETIC TATTOOING: This skin patch test demonstrated signs of allergic reactions. You must consult your physician for further treatment.

WARNING: A negative test is NOT a guarantee that a reaction will not appear at some point in the future. The reason for this is that your body can decide at ANY point in the future, to become allergic to almost anything. It depends on the state of your immune system.

  • IF YOU RECEIVED YOUR INITIAL PROCEDURE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY, YOU NEED TO SCHEDULE A "NEW" PROCEDURE WITH US.

  • IF YOU START WITH PERMETIKA, THEN MOVE TO ANOTHER TECHNICIAN, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DISCONTINUE FURTHER WORK ON YOU DEPENDING ON EACH CASE.

    • HOWEVER, ALL PROCEDURES RETURNING PROCEDURES WILL START OVER AS "NEW" PRICING SINCE WE ARE ADOPTING THE WORK (AND POTENTIAL PROBLEMS) FROM A COMPETITOR.​​​​​

**Eyebrow Procedures:**

OK - you brow enthusiasts... We recommend hitting the pause button on Latisse and other brow serums for at least a month before your treatment. And let’s be honest - there's absolutely no need to shape  your brows beforehand. We love them just as they are, wild and free, so come as you are! After all, that helps us show off our best work!

​

**Eyeliner Procedures:**

And before you get your eyeliner game on, we kindly ask that you say goodbye to those lash growth serums for about a month. And those fabulous lash extensions? Try to have them removed about a week or so prior to your appointment. This little break gives your eyelids a chance to relax and get ready for the tattooing magic!

​

**Lip Procedures:**

Now, if you happen to battle cold sores or fever blisters, we’ve got a little homework for you! Please make sure to ask your doctor for a prescription for an antiviral medication before you dive into that lip tattoo adventure. Most clients find that they need 2-3 sessions to really lock in that gorgeous color (thanks to all that lip action).

**Pre-Medication:**

Finally, a friendly reminder for all you wellness warriors out there: if you ever need to take antibiotics before routine dental work or any other medical procedure, you’re going to want to do the same for this beauty treatment. It’s all about keeping things safe and sound!

PAYMENT INFORMATION.

Payment for each appointment will be split into two separate transactions - detailed as follows.

1. BOOKING FEE  - 50%

  • A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve our time for your procedure. This policy ensures that focus is dedicated to those who are genuinely interested in our services. It also helps to minimize no-shows.

​

2. BALANCE DUE:  50%  

  • Due on day of appointment.

  • You may pay in ELECTRONICALLY in advance of the appointment to speed up the process.

  • You may pay after the appointment as well.

  • Payment may be submitted electronically  making the process smooth and convenient. 

  • However, we accept all forms of payment.

RESCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS​

BEWARE! Last minute reset?  If you're trying to break the 5-day notice rule, our system will give you the cold shoulder – you'll just need to chat with us directly. And if you're unable to come at all -  feel free to pass along your appointment to someone else - sharing is caring!​

 1st Reschedule - No Questions, No Charge

  • Life happens, and if you need to postpone your scheduled visit, no worries! Just locate the most recent confirmation email from Permetika and look for the link to reschedule.​

​

2nd Reschedule -  Rescheduling Fee Required: $100

  • Another unexpected curveball? We understand! It Happens...

  • Again, if you happen to break our 5-day notice rule, don’t worry -our system simply not allow you to reschedule online, which means you’ll need to reach out to us directly for support. We’re more than happy to help you find a new time that works for you!

  • Additionally, if for any reason you can make it, you still have the option to transfer your appointment to another. It’s all about keeping things flexible and accommodating! Thank you for your cooperation as we navigate this together.

3 or More Reschedules  -  Rescheduling Fee Required: $200

  • Yep! Life's a rollercoaster, and we’re down for the ride! However, when reschedules pile up, our calendar starts resembling a deserted island. To keep things running smoothly, we’ll be implementing a $200 rescheduling fee at 3+ changes.

  • We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate our schedules together. Thanks for being awesome and sticking with us!
