Consultations
CONSULTATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED, BUT ARE NOT MANDATORY AS MOST INFORMATION IS HERE!
IMPORTANT:

ALL APPOINTMENT DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE!

As we all know by experience... any of the following situations may occur at any time.

  • Inclement Weather

  • Emergency Situation

  • Sudden Illness

​

This is how we handle such occasions:

  • First, we will send a notice by text and/or email to our client and artist notifying all parties of an ALTERNATE DATE.

  • If the new date is fine with you, there is no need to reply, just show up. 

  • You may confirm if it makes you feel better by leaving a message for us by phone or the 24/7 MESSAGE CENTER.

  • If the alternate date DOES NOT work for you:

    • You may use the link in your email to select a date that serves you better.

    • If you are electronically challenged,  please feel free to MESSAGE US to request an alternative date. 

GROUP CONSULTATION MEETINGS . . . . . . . . .  $50

  • This fee is applicable to your procedure if scheduled the night of the consultation. 

​

  • We do not charge for this meeting unless you decline to move forward with a procedure. 

​

Group consultations are an educational experience, so be sure to bring a list of all of your questions and learn what permanent makeup can (and cannot) do for you.

This is A FUN TIME spent connecting & educating people who care enough to come, and we hope you'll join us.

We schedule these meetings at least once a month and generally last from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the questions that arise from the group.

Seating is limited, and you must register online to select a date for the class. This will give us an accurate head count for the meeting. The class should be scheduled a MINIMUM OF 1 WEEK prior to your first permanent makeup session. 

 

Consultation Appointments may be reset to any later date, without consequence or penalty.

Private Consultations Available  . . . . .  $100 â€‹

  • This fee is NOT applicable to your procedure since you to had the opportunity to schedule in a group setting.

  • This $100 non refundable fee is for the artists time and expertise. It is not a deposit and will not be applied toward the cost of your procedure.

  • We charge for private meetings since we give the opportunity to attend a Group  Consultation where the fee is applicable to a procedure.  

​

* The $50 fee that we charge for group Consultatations is to serve as a reminder that you have an appointment with us and to help deter people from joining who are not serious about a procedure.

* However, THIS FEE IS RETURNED TO YOU as it can be applied toward any future appointment. This fee is also non refundable

* The Monthly Consultation is only free to clients who book an appointment.

SELF ADMINISTERED ALLERGY PATCH TEST 

By agreeing to administer your own test, you also agree to take on any responsibility for the outcome. You must clean the area thoroughly and keep the treated area clean until fully healed. Permetika does not take responsibility for improperly executed tests. 

​

STEP 1 CLEANSE:

Wash a small area of skin on the inside of the elbow or behind the ear. Rub the area briskly with an alcohol pad. Allow the area to air dry. 

 

STEP 2 APPLY PIGMENT: 

When the test area is dry, apply a TINY drop of pigment to the cleansed area using a sterile Q-tip.  Important:  Use the SAME color from the same lot/batch# as will be used during treatment.  

 

 

STEP 3: LIGHTLY PRICK SKIN:

Using a lancet or sterile needle, prick the skin through the drop of pigment (as if to remove a TINY splinter). Prick 10-20 times in a small circle about the size of a mustard seed - NOT THE SIZE OF A PENCIL ERASURE! Prick just long enough to deliver some color into the skin.

STEP 4 MONITOR:

Monitor the area for the next 72 hours. The skin may itch and or sting slightly upon application, however, it should not burn or feel intensely painful. Itching may continue. This is a normal part of the healing process, so don’t worry.

​

STEP 5 FOLLOW-UP:

Follow-up with your client after 3-5 days to inquire about the condition of the tested skin patch.  

 

Analyzing the Skin Patch Test Results

As previously stated, most clients will have a slight sensitivity, stinging, or itchy feeling to the test upon application, and itching may remain as the skin heals. This is normal and not a sign of an allergic reaction. However, you should not experience burning or severe irritation that they consider unbearable.

SIGNS TO WATCH FOR:  WELTING, OOZING, SWELLING, REDNESS AROUND TREATED AREA.

 

RESULTS: NO IRRITATION AT ALL

ACTION: GREEN LIGHT GO! This skin patch test did not present any signs of allergic reactions. It is ok to proceed with scheduling the cosmetic tattooing appointment.  (See warning below).

RESULTS:  MILD TO MODERATE IRRITATION

ACTION: PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION: This skin patch test only demonstrated mild to moderate reactions., so exercise caution and consult your physician before proceeding with any cosmetic tattooing procedure. (See warning below).

 

RESULTS:  SEVERE

 Irritation, Burning, or Itching, Welting, Oozing Swelling, or Redness extending from patch tested area.

ACTION:  YOU ARE NOT A CANDIDATE FOR COSMETIC TATTOOING: This skin patch test demonstrated signs of allergic reactions. You must consult your physician for further treatment.

WARNING:

A negative test is NOT a guarantee that a future reaction will not appear. Your body can decide at ANY point in the future, to become allergic to almost anything. It depends on the state of your immune system.

  • (IF REQUESTED) must be performed at least 3-5 days prior to your appointment to allow time for a reaction to appear.  You must realize that this is just a precautionary measure, that does NOT guarantee that a future reaction will not occur.

 

APPOINTMENTS:

ARE RECOMMENDED BUT NOT MANDATORY. We don't have a lot of time to spare talking on the phone, so this is a great opportunity to come and relax while we answer your questions and getting to know each other's goals. So come satisfy your curiosity in a FUN environment where you'll meet other people who also share similar interests. It'll be like a girls night out, unless you're a guy. Hey... Men need brows too!

HOW TO SCHEDULE A CONSULTATION or APPOINTMENT:

  • Select an ARTIST. 

    • Artist's availability is shown at the time of booking.

  • Enter your name, address, email address and your cc information to secure your appointment. ​

Consultations normally start between 5:00-6:00 pm.  EXACT TIME WILL BE REFLECTED UPON BOOKING

  • This informal gathering is friendly and it's the perfect opportunity for us to become acquainted and hopefully unique ideas  or challenges from others. 

​

  • Upon Arrival  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .   Allergy Testing 

  • 15 Minutes later  . . . . . . . . .. . . . DISCUSSION  

  • 30 Minutes later . . . . . .  . . . . . . Q&A TIME!

You are free to leave at any time. Just make sure you get your allergy skin test if you want one. These are recommended but are not mandatory since the number of reactions are close to zero. 

 

The full amount of this booking fee for a GROUP CONSULT is applicable toward the procedure of your choice, but is otherwise non-refundable. If you are booking with Connie,  you may attend the Group Meeting with Connie and this booking fee will be applied toward your procedure, making this meeting essentially free.

  • ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. 

  • Consultations MUST be booked with the PERFORMING Artist!

  • If you are booking with a Permetika Artist, you may still attend the Group Meeting Connie and you may request that the Permetika Artist of your choice attends the consultation to say hi, learn about your needs and just get acquainted.

  • FREE ALLERGY TESTING is performed at all consultations, upon request.​

 

  • You may book A FREE 10-minute TESTonline if you want the test, but not the consult,.

 

  • Consultations are informational only and do not include any makeup application or designing to show what your brows would look like if tattood. The reason we don't offer this is because Permanent Makeup does not look like regu.

  • More than one person may attend a consultation, so feel free to bring a friend!

​

  • If you must reschedule a consultation, we kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice, if possible.

​

  • IF YOU ARE PLANNING ANY COSMETIC PROCEDURES WITHIN 4 WEEKS PRIOR TO, OR FOLLOWING YOUR PROCEDURE, PLEASE LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE TO FIND OUT IF THERE MAY BE ANY CONTRAINDICATION TO DOING SO...

  • PLEASE DON'T MAKE ANY OTHER COSMETIC PROCEDURE APPOINTMENTS (Botox, Filler, Surgery)  FOR AT LEAST A MONTH BEFORE OR AFTER YOUR PMU APPOINTMENT.

The success of these procedures depends upon BOTH of us following the rules.

FOR EXAMPLE . . .

If you show up immediately after receiving injectibles... WE CANNOT WORK ON YOU WITHOUT DESTROYING THE BOTOX OR FILLER WORK. If this happens, you will forfeit the booking fee and we will have to reschedule your appointment to a new date and A NEW DEPOSIT will be required to secure your next appointment.  (No Budging on this one!)

REMINDER:  THIS IS A MULTI TREATMENT PROCESS! Reading over this site should answer most, or all of your question. If after reading, you still have questions - please join us for our next monthly consultation meeting. I'm sure we can put your mind at ease as we address your particular set of questions. And, we would love to meet you, so don't be shy!

  • Be sure to read THE PLAN AHEAD, TIMING, AFTERCARE, & HEALING PAGES to make sure you have a clear understanding of our recommendations, and plan accordingly.

  • BOOKING FEES & CANCELLATIONS:  (Fees are applicable toward your procedure)​

  • BOOKING FEE FOR APPOINTMENTS . . . . Typically 50% of the cost of the service. 

  • BOOKING FEES are collected to make sure your remember to show up for the appointment that we reserved for you. All but the fee for a private consultation, are applicable toward the cost of the procedure. This booking fee is refundable in the event you change your mind, as long as you cancel 5-days prior to your appointment.

  • As a courtesy to others who may want your spot, we would appreciate notice of a week or two, if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment.

  • If you do not offer at least a 5-days notice of cancellation, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to reset your next appointment.

  • Our OnLine Calendar is available to you 24/7, even when we can't be. So feel free to book with us anytime...

  • A reminder about the FAQ page...  You can read over the questions one by one. You can check them out by CATEGORY, or you can SEARCH for a particular answer by clicking on the Search Bar and typing in a keyword pertaining to your question.  

  • ​IF YOU DON'T FIND YOUR ANSWER THERE... PLEASE TEXT US YOUR QUESTION AND WE WILL ANSWER IT BY TEXT, THEN ADD IT TO THE LIST OF QUESTIONS! 

  • PLEASE NOTE! Our calendar fills up fast, so we always recommend reserving your follow-up sessions at the same time when booking session number 1. This step will ensure that you don't have a long wait between appointments.  If you end up not needing the additional appointments, you can bump the appointment out a few months or cancel altogether.
