FLASHBACK Skin Corrector ™
The Superfrecator Device is used for removing UNWANTED Skin Lesions such as skin tags, sun spots, sebaceous hyperplasia, telangiectasias (tiny red spider veins) some pigmentation.
This device delivers truly AMAZING results! In the past five years at Permetika, I have removed thousands of minor skin irregularities with great success!
The Super Frecator uses a high frequency electrical current through a micro-needle to dehydrate any skin growth. The area is in fact, dehydrated, and a scab replaces the area. Once the scab drops off, the treated area will heal and new healthy skin will return gradually. There is no blood, and all treatments are permanent.
PRICING for Lesion Removal is $300 for 30 minutes of "continous" work. (That means you are NOT billed for paperwork or numbing time!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT UNDESIRED SKIN LESIONS…
What are undesired skin lesions?
These are skin growths which accumulate various types of cells that look different from the normal surrounding skin. They may be raised or flat and range in color from dark brown or black to flesh-colored or red. They may be present at birth or develop later as we age.
Are they safe to remove?
In most cases, skin growths are non-cancerous and can be safely removed. The treatment is performed by a professional, certified technician who has been trained to identify the different types of skin growths appropriate for treatment. All treatments are performed using the strictest sanitary procedures.
What is the SuperFrecator?
The SuperFrecator is a cauterization machine that has been successfully used for over 30 years by skin care professionals to remove all types of common surface skin growths.
How does the SuperFrecator work?
The machine uses a high-frequency electrical current that delivers a precise spark through a micro needle to cauterize and desiccate skin growths. During the procedure the micro-needle remains above the skin surface; it does not penetrate the skin. As the growth is removed, a natural protective coating or scab develops that covers the treated area. Within the next few days the scab will fall off and be replaced by healthy new skin cells the color of the surrounding skin tissue.
How does it differ from liquid nitrogen?
The SuperFrecator 6800 Series is generally more effective than liquid nitrogen in removing skin growths. Frequently, more than one application of liquid nitrogen is needed to remove a growth, whereas only one SuperFrecator treatment is usually necessary. In addition, SuperFrecator treatments are less expensive.
Is the Treatment Permanent?
Yes! Once a skin growth has been treated with the SuperFrecator it does not return. However, aging never stops and if your skin is prone to these types of growths, new ones may appear elsewhere on your face and body.
How does it work?
The Super Frecator has a high-frequency electrical current that delivers precise electrical sparks through micro electric probe at different amplitudes to dehydrate the skin growth. It is an electrical treatment device, NOT an operating tool (such as an electrical scalpel). Therefore the client does not need to be grounded. Results are seen almost immediately. All treatments are permanent.
In most cases, the probe does not contact the tissue being treated, and the current sparks across the gap causing dehydration of the skin growth, and there is no blood associated with the treatment. The area is in fact, dehydrated. A scab soon replaces the area where the growth originated. From this point on, new skin cells start regenerating from underneath. It usually takes about 1 week for smaller growth and up to 3 weeks for bigger and thicker skin growth before the scab falls off naturally. The treated area will heal and new healthy skin will return and gradually take on the color of the surrounding tissue.
For safety purposes, Super Frecator 6800M only operates at the lowest power setting. An easy-to-use calibrated rotary control dial can be instantly adjusted for the desired frequency.

After Care Instructions for Removal of Benign Lesions
(This Aftercare differs from Flashback Skin Tightening!)
-
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE, THE TREATED SKIN MAY HAVE AN ASHY APPEARANCE.
-
OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS, THE TREATED CELLS TURN RED AS THE SCABBING FORMS. EVENTUALLY, TURNING DARK PINK, TO MEDIUM PINK, TO LIGHT PINK, THEN GONE. THE TIME IT TAKES FOR COMPLETE HEALING IS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE. MOST CASES TAKE 2-6 MONTHS TO COMPLETELY VANISH. SOME TAKE LONGER WHILE OTHERS HEAL SOONER. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO TRADE AN UNWANTED LESION THAT WILL REMAIN FOREVER, WITH A SCAB THAT WILL EVENTUALLY FADE AWAY.
-
FAIR SKIN RETURNS TO NORMAL WITHIN A FEW MONTHS.
-
RUDDY OR DARKER SKIN TYPES TAKE MUCH LONGER FOR THE TREATED AREA TO RETURN TO NORMAL, POSSIBLY EVEN A YEAR. THIS IS WHY WE REQUIRE A PATCH TEST TO DETERMINE YOUR OUTCOME.
-
DO NOT WASH THE TREATED AREA FOR 24 HOURS. Keep lesions completely dry. Softening of the brand-new scab with water may cause it to come off prematurely and may cause the skin to take longer to heal.
-
The body releases histamine to help trigger the cells which will assist the healing and create new healthy tissue.
-
DO NOT SCRATCH THE TREATED AREA. Leave the scabs alone as they protect the fragile new skin cells. As the area transitions from its fresh state to its healing state, you will likely experience an itchy sensation,. This is attributed to the development of new skin. During the healing stages, new collagen forms to create new skin. This new skin may be sensitive which may lead to more itching sensations. Do not pick or itch the healing area. Scratching the treated area could result in infection or damaged cells.
-
DO NOT APPLY ANY PRODUCTS ON THE TREATED AREA that are not recommended as this may cause irritation, affect the stages of healing, and could result in infection. Only recommended products durng the healing phase can be used.
-
DO NOT EXPOSE TO HEAT: No saunas, no steam rooms, Anything that causes you to sweat.
-
Until the scab(s) falls off . . . No swimming pools, jacuzzis, long showers, or any other activity that causes excessive sweating. Excessive wetness of the treated area could cause the protective scab to fall off prematurely, which will delay the healing process.
-
DO NOT USE ANY ACID OR EXFOLIATION PRODUCTS for 4-8 weeks after the procedure.
-
ONLY USE first aid antibiotic ointment IF: You are experiencing redness around the treated area. Then apply to the area at night only.
-
You may SCHEDULE Venus Versa Resurfacing procedure one month after your procedure. This is designed to speed up the cell turnover process.
-
DO USE a healing balm after the scab falls off to support the regenerative processes of the skin after the SUPERFRECATOR PROCEDURE. This dramatically helps reduce trans-epidermal water loss, discomfort, redness, and irritation. Use a product with plant-derived botanicals and antioxidants with certified organic ingredients to achieve exceptional recovery results.
Recovery Phase
-
The estimated timeframe it takes for the skin to blend into its original skin tone depends on the client and the body part treated:
-
The Face heals and returns to normal the fastest. This could take up to 3-4 months for total blending.
-
Arms and hands can take up to 6-12 months for total blending.
-
Legs and thighs can take up to 12 to 15 months for total blending.
-
FEET takes the longest to heal due to decreased circulation since they are located farther from your heart.
-
ONCE HEALED, you should wear SPF Image Skincare sun prevention protection.
-
The treated area forms an immediate protective scab.
-
Scab color can range from light grey or brown to dark brown or even black in color.
-
Keep the treated area as dry as possible.
-
The scab should fall off naturally on average for seven to fourteen days.
-
Large skin growths may produce two to three successive crusts and last up to three weeks.
-
In an area of good blood supply and abundant subcutaneous tissue, healing will be rapid.
-
During the healing process, each skin type reacts differently based on the number of pigment cells in the skin.
-
The body’s natural healing and defense mechanism start working immediately after treatment.
-
After the scabs fall off, the new skin appears to be very fresh and light to dark pink in color.
-
From this point on, the healing continues till the color blends into the original skin tone.
-
There are different stages associated with this process based on the natural response of the skin.
-
The process involves color changes on the treated area which we call Post Inflammatory Pigment.
FLASHBACK SKIN CORRECTION:
This Flashback Treatment is an alternative to laser treatment. It removes or reduces the presence of benign skin lesions or irregularities such as the following:
TELANGIECTASIAS (Broken capillaries)
Broken capillaries are small dilated blood vessels near the surface of the skin or mucus membranes. They can develop anywhere on the body but are commonly seen on the face around the nose, cheeks, chin, and chest. They can be caused by environmental damage such as sun or cold exposure and may increase as we age. Trauma to the skin such as contusions and surgical procedures are also a factor as well as radiation therapy.
CHERRY ANGIOMAS (Tiny red spots on face, neck or body)
Cherry Angiomas are small clusters of capillaries at the surface of the skin that form a small round dome, orpapule, which is often flat topped. The color typically ranges from bright red to purple. When they first begin to appear, they are almost flat and appear as small red dots. These dots can grow over time up to a centimeter or more in some cases. Larger cherry angiomas may be thick and raised. These are found in various areas of the face and body and are typically caused by aging, pregnancy, genetics, and excessive sun exposure.
SEBACEOUS HYPERPLASIA (Small "donut-like bumps)
Sebaceous Hyperplasia is a disorder of the oil glands and is a common, benign condition most commonly found in adults of middle age or older. These lesions can be single or multiple and appear as a yellow, soft, small papule on the face. They are round and the oil surrounds the pore giving it a "donut-like" appearance. Typically these occur on the nose, cheeks, and forehead. Occasionally, sebaceous hyperplasia appear on the chest or other parts of the body as well.
LENTIGO (Brown Spots Flat Spots)
Brown Spots, or are small pigmented spots that occur on the skin and have a clearly defined edge, surrounded by skin that appears normal. These are benign and restricted to the cell layer directly above the deepest membrane of the epidermis, which is where the melanocytes that make up these spots normally reside. Unlike freckles, these will stay stable in their color regardless of sunlight exposure. The most common, benign, sun induced lesion is a solar lentigo (actinic lentigo, senile lentigo, sun spot, liver spot). They occur in sun exposed areas appearing on the face, arms, tops of hands, and chest. The spots are typically smaller than 5mm in diameter and can be flat or depressed and may be split by fine wrinkles. The lesions are usually brown in color and may range from yellow-tan to black. Older lesions are often darker brown or black and can slowly increase in number and in size. It is most commonly found in individuals aged 30-50 years old. Increased exposure to sun and artificial sources of UV light can cause these to appear at an even younger age.
SEBORRHEIC KERATOSIS (Brown Scab-like Spots)
Seborrheic keratosis is a non-cancerous (benign) skin. lesion that originates from cells in the outer layer of the epidermis, also known as keratinocytes. Like liver spots, seborrheic keratoses are seen more often as people age. These lesions can be slightly elevated and have a waxy or scaly appearance like a scab from a wound. They can appear round of oval, ranging from very small to more than one inch in size. These growths can appear in various colors, ranging from light tan to black, and have been often described as having a "pasted on" appearance. Seborrheic keratoses are commonly found on the face, chest, shoulders, and back. Although typically painless, they can become irritated from clothing or jewelry that causes friction. While seborrheic keratosis is non-cancerous, basal cell carcinoma can sometimes be found in the same location and sometimes can progress into basal cell carcinoma.
ACROCHORDON (Small SKIN TAGS attached to skin)
A skin tag is a small benign irregularity that primarily forms in areas where the skin creases, such as the neck, armpit, and groin. Sometimes they may also appear on the eyelids or other areas of the face. These are harmless and typically painless and do not grow or change over time. Skin tags can be large, sometimes up to a half-inch long, but are most commonly about the size of a grain of rice. The surface can range from smooth to rough. They can become irritated by shaving, clothing, or jewelry. Common causes are weight gain, genetic, diabetes, and pregnancy. They are also more common in women than men.
BLACKHEADS (pores appearing black under the skin)
Blackheads, or comedones, are a black-colored bumps on the skin. A blackhead is a type of acne called vulgarism. These are caused by excess oil that has accumulated in the sebaceous gland's duct. The substance found in these bumps typically consists mostly of keratin and sebum. Clogged Hair follicles (where blackheads tend to occur) reflect light irregularly which produces a black hue. For this reason, the contents of the blackhead may not look black when extracted, but more so a yellow or brown color. Also, the open follicle begins to oxidize which contributes to the black appearance as well.
MILIA (white-colored bump just under the skin)
Milia is a keratin-filled cyst that can appear just under the epidermis. Milia are very common in newborn babies but can appear in people of all ages. They are most commonly found around the nose and eye. In children, milia disappear easily, on their own. However, in adults, they may require removal by a skincare professional.
CYSTIC ACNE (blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, and cysts)
Cystic acne is a common skin disease, characterized by areas of the skin with blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pimples, and cysts usually accompanied by scarring. Acne is most common on the face, back, and chest and can sometimes be inflammatory. Acne is most common during adolescence but is also often found in young adults, or even adults forty and over. Acne develops from blockages in the hair follicles. Hormones play a huge role in breakouts as well as genetic.
