wELCOME TO MY BROW STUDIO

~ WHERE HARMONY MEETS EXPRESSION by Connie
Hey there, and welcome! I’m so thrilled to have you join me on this exciting journey where the idea of beauty is always evolving and transforming! With my one-of-a-kind BROWS 360 Diamond Method™, I truly believe that the best outcomes embrace the fascinating concepts of Gestalt Theory. Instead of fixating on just one little patch of skin showing through your brow hair in a 20x mirror... we’ll take a step back to appreciate how NATURAL everything looks from a normal distance away. It's amazing to see all those little details come together beautifully - and perfectly reflects your individuality and personal style. I invite you to take part in this fun and interactive experience, where we can chat, share some laughs, and let me create something genuinely showcases your unique beauty and personality! I’m really looking forward to getting started and can’t wait to see what we’ll create together!
  • I’ve never encountered anything quite like this. After searching the internet for months, I finally brought my wife here, and it was worth it. Your work is truly exceptional. The best way I can describe it is completely - gestalt

—Plastic Surgeon, Atlanta

  • “You need to become a disruptor in your industry. No one works the way you do.”

—Veterinarian, Pittsburgh

HOW THIS APPLIES TO EYEBROW DESIGN

(and especially my BROWS 360 method):

It’s fascinating how our brains are wired to perceive patterns and complete images - even when that "something" is missing... or when one aspect seems out of place, it can disrupt our overall perception, even if the individual elements are accurate. We instinctively process information as a unified whole before dissecting it into parts, highlighting the importance of coherence in our visual experiences. This natural tendency influences how we interpret everything around us.

  • I don’t design brows by obsessing over one tiny piece at a time - you step back and watch how the brows work as a whole with the face, in motion, in expression, in life.

  • A brow that looks “perfect” in a static position (like with pre-mapping or rigid stencils) may fall apart the second someone smiles, frowns, or talks - because it doesn’t flow with the whole face.

  • My method honors movement, balance, and emotional expression - building brows that feel natural, because they are natural. You’re not slapping on parts. You’re creating harmony across the entire face.

  • Every stroke has purpose — but its value comes from how it contributes to the whole. A single out-of-place stroke can throw off the balance of the entire brow.

Welcome to my brow studio, where our signature philosophy, Harmony in Motion™, takes center stage!

I’m a passionate, brow artist who thinks in layers, details, feelings, and vision. And faces are multi faceted and unique to each person - and this is real-time work - nap time work. I watch how each face shifts - when you smile, talk, frown, laugh - It tells me a story.

I start by filling in the barest spots first, then expand the shape from a center spine. Every stroke I place is about balance, placement, and flow, not about stamping out a cookie-cutter shape. I work IN HARMONY with ALL the EXPRESSIONS OF THE FACE. I don’t believe in forcing faces into template shapes that only look good when they’re frozen in one position.

It’s a blend of precision and intuition. While a map is essential for areas like eyeliner or lips, where swelling can alter the outcome, I prefer to approach brows freehand. This ensures your brows complement your unique expressions. The key is balancing artistry with thoughtful mapping, knowing when to trust my instincts, rely on guidelines, and step back for the complete view.

To sum it up:

  • Placement of initial strokes - anchor the design.

  • Precision cleans up the edges.

  • Intuition shapes the art.

  • Logic keeps it all flowing the way it should.

Your face moves. Your art should, too. That’s Harmony in Motion™.

THE DIAMOND METHOD: BROWS 360™

Brows aren’t static. They don’t live on a flat, lifeless canvas. They move. They react. They shift with every smile, frown, and flicker of emotion.

That’s why we design brows like a jeweler refines a diamond—studying every angle, every facet, every glimmer of light.

“Every face is a gem. Every angle matters.”

PROPER placement anchors the design. Precision refines the edges. Intuition shapes the art. Logic guides the flow with just the right rhythm for every face.

The arch is the pivot point - like a pinwheel formation in a marching band. Small changes at the pivot dramatically affect the tail’s position... especially at the very tip where you want it to point toward the top third of the ear: to lift, not drag down, the entire face.

THE SOUL OF OUR METHOD

We don’t tattoo onto a blank canvas—we co-create with a living one.
Brows are a journey, not a one-shot deal. We work in layers, with intention and grace. We stop when it looks beautiful, let it heal, then perfect and adjust over time.

We don’t work with you lying down, silent and still. We work standing. You’re upright, talking, laughing, frowning, expressing—because that’s when your real face shows up.

Humor, conversation, and connection help your natural movements shine through.

A client once raised a brow mid-sentence—“It did?!”—and revealed an asymmetry no stencil could predict. That moment shaped her design.

If you’re too close to the work, you lose your path. That’s why we step back, study the face from a distance, and see the balance before placing the next stroke.

Placement trumps precision.
Three hairs out of line can ruin the harmony.

WHY WE WORK IN LAYERS

We whisper color, not shout it.
We choose conservative pigments that heal soft and natural. Once pigment is in—it’s in. Adding is easy. Taking away? That’s another story.

We adapt our technique to skin type:
Dry skin heals crisp.
Oily skin can blur—so we may switch to powder techniques when that’s the better choice.

AVOIDING THE UNCANNY VALLEY

We aren''t born with perfect features.

There, we don’t chase mechanical perfection.
Uniform, patterned strokes risk looking artificial. We design brows that blend, flow, and live on your face without overpowering it.

The face wears the brows - not the other way around.

WHEN MAPPING MATTERS

Mapping is part of our toolkit. We use it when precision must come first.

With eyeliner and lips, mapping keeps everything on point.

One millimeter off on a wing, and it looks like grandma did her makeup in the dark.

THE STORIES THAT SET US APART

Plastic Surgeon, Atlanta

Nervous, he asked: “Aren’t you going to map her brows first?”
I said: “Not unless you want me to mess up.”
“I’ve never seen anyone work like this. It’s… gestalt.”

Veterinarian, Pittsburgh

“You need to be a disruptor. No one works the way you do.”

WHAT SETS US APART

We’re not the fastest - and we’re not trying to be.
We’re the most intentional. We step back. We check. We care enough to make sure it’s right - not just right now, but right for you.

True perfection is when people don’t say:

“Who did your brows?”

They just say: “You look incredible.”

Permetika . . .

we do things differently here

Welcome to our unique approach to brow design, where we embrace our philosophy of Harmony in Motion™. This is not traditional brow tattooing. This is BROWS 360™. This is Harmony in Motion™.

We don’t design brows in silence, with rulers and stencils and static positions. We design them in motion - with conversation, with laughter, with emotion. Your muscles speak. We listen. And when the last stroke pull it all together, its time to STOP.

And if you’re wondering how we hold back when the industry pushes “bold and done in one,” here’s your answer - we follow the STOP Method. Start Small, Think in Motion, Observe in Real Time, Perfect & Adjust over time!

S – Start Small

Don’t dump a full load of pigment in, and choke out each breath of air, between every hair.  just to see what sticks. We build in layers.

We whisper color in, not shout it.

T – Think in Motion

Some people read the room. We read your face. The one full of emotion.

No two clients move the same. That’s why we don’t pre-map. We perform in real time.

O – Observe and Adjust

This isn’t a paint-by-numbers process. It’s a dance. We respond to what we see, what you feel, and how your skin behaves from moment to moment.

P – Perfect Over Time

Brows are a journey, not a one-shot deal. True perfection happens in layers—once the skin has healed, the pigment has settled, and your natural movement returns. We’d rather go slow and get it right than rush and regret it later.

Because this is not just about brows.

It’s about restoring confidence. Honoring expression. And letting your natural beauty lead the way.

We don’t want people to say, “Wow, who did your brows?”

We want them to say, “You look incredible!” - without knowing why.

That’s the magic of Harmony in Motion™.

That’s the genius of BROWS 360™.

That’s Permetika®.

We attentively observe how your muscles respond and shift with every word, or emotion, creating brows that reflect your true expressions. Our focus is not on perfect symmetry, but on achieving natural, expressive harmony that enhances your beauty and with your individuality.

Welcome to a new era in permanent makeup. We reject the notion of going 30–50% darker because we believe your face is not a formula. Every individual's skin is unique, and we prioritize artistry over guesswork. Trust us to enhance your natural beauty without the gamble of excess pigment.

That’s why we work from a philosophy we call Harmony in Motion™ - and it’s powered by our signature BROWS 360 Gestalt Method™.

We observe your expressions in real time - how your brows shift when you laugh, soften when you sigh, lift when you’re surprised. We’re not chasing symmetry. We’re chasing something much more valuable - natural, expressive harmony that lives with you, not just on you.

Because here’s the truth:

  • Symmetry only exists in stillness - but your face is never truly still unless your sleeping. Every face has its own rhythm - and every brow should follow that flow. We don’t tattoo onto a blank canvas - we co-create with a living one.

And we’re not afraid to start light.

If it fades a little too much? It's ok - we tweak it.

If it fades just right? Perfect.

But going in too dark, too dense, or too fast? That’s the kind of mistake that can take years - and laser sessions - to undo.

So at Permetika®, we do what most won’t:

We start with intention. We move with precision. And we finish with grace.

Now, the art is in your SKIN!

Skin that is moving and churning on a microscopic level and is going to be fighting to remove what we just put in.  Add to that, all the various levels of self-care going on. Some people follow all the rules while others will break out the peroxide to scrub out thier new color. DO DO THAT! Most likely, what you're seeing is inflammation more than color! So if (at any stage of your healing process)  you move into freak-out mode, just remember how it looked when it was first done. Take a breath... calm down... let it heal... and we will take the next steps at your follow-up session.

Why you should read prior to an Appointment.

When a client books an appointment at PERMETIKA, it is with the understanding that you have READ, YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE  with the information that I have shared throughout this website. This information is meant to help you in forming  realistic expectations, foster a great relationship and to avoid  any potential misunderstandings in the future.  By the time you are seated in my chair, we will have shared this information with you , in advance and on multiple levels. WHY is this so important?

For starters, learn if you're a good CANDIDATE or not.

  • Make sure your idea of pretty is the same as mine.

  • So let's PLAN OUT YOUR SESSION -  TIMING GUIDELINES.

  • Know what to do to CARE FOR YOUR NEW PROCEDURE.

  • Understand that potential (not common)  RISKS that are inherent with any procedure, performed by ANY artist, even me!

  • Why? There is a possibility that your skin may not respond favorably to the art placed in it.

  • Therefore, we cannot entirely predict an exact outcome, nor do we have ultimate control over your skin's reactions, should there be any reaction at all.

EACH PROCEDURE IS AN EXPERIMENT!

  • Therefore we vow to proceed cautiously. IN TURN, WE EXPECT . . . that you consider yourself a well-informed client who understands that your procedure will NOT stay as it was initially implanted and agree with a conservative approach and are willing and ABLE to commit to more sessions as needed  TO BUILD TOWARD YOUR ULTIMATE GOALS, instead of risking too much color retention.

  • REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS are paramount! PERFECT does not exist! Artistic preferences are subject to interpretation, but we will do our best to be on the same page with you!

  • Because the more you know, the better prepared you'll be.

  • People often ask if they really need to plan...  Some just assume that it's not that important.  We feel it's best to do everything you can, to achieve optimal results. People who have had body art know that some tattoos heal well while others need follow-ups.

  • This is even more true with Permanent Cosmetics. Our pigment is not applied as deep in the skin as a body tattoo, so we need to fight to keep what color we can!

  • So we hope you will take the time to learn about our process and spend a couple of weeks preparing for your procedure by starting & stopping certain products, eating well, and start taking the Arnica Montana as recommended, if able.

  • We feel that these steps will HELP secure a MORE successful procedure than if you don't prepare at all.  However, because all skin is different, we cannot guarantee a perfect outcome, as the art we apply is in YOUR SKIN, and skin is UNPREDICTABLE.

  • The worst-case scenario would be that most of your color doesn't take.  If this happens, you must be mentally prepared to get back up in the saddle - and DO IT AGAIN!  Most people require 2-3 sessions with my technique. However, some people may need more. Some less!

  • IN EXTREMELY RARE CASES, the color could go too dark, even though we do perform conservatively. If this happens, we will need to assess the situation in person.

So when you schedule an appointment at PERMETIKA, it is with the understanding that you have READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE  with the way I perform the application. The information that I have shared throughout this website is meant to help you form realistic expectations, foster a great relationship, and avoid misunderstandings in the future.   By the time you arrive for your appointment, we will have shared this information with you, in advance and on multiple levels.

The success of each procedure depends on a variety of factors such as the natural talent and skill level of the artist, the client's health, what medications they are taking, lifestyle & personal habits, and if the client fully cooperated by following the guidelines such as taking ARNICA MONTANA for two weeks prior to the appointment and by following proper care following each procedure.

How fast one heals also plays a huge role. The faster you heal, the better the color retention. The longer it takes to heal, the more time there is to lose the color.   So please be patient with the process and schedule your follow-up visit for the best results!

The information on this page is an abbreviated form of this entire website. This page gives you a bird's eye view at a glance. Please continue reading for more detail and thank you in advance, for understanding and for taking the time to read, learn, and apply the principles found on this site. We want the best for you!

❌  What to Do, Stop or Remove

Please note the following recommendations that apply - prior to any cosmetic tattooing session.

  • ALL PROCEDURES:  Start taking ARNICA MONTANA before your procedure to help reduce the effects of possible bruising, swelling, bleeding or inflammation which ALL make procedures more difficult to perform and reduce optimal results. Best to start a week or more before any cosmetic procedure but super helpful to continue taking during the healing phase.

  • BROWS and EYELINER:  Discontinue use of any growth serums for at least a month prior to session.

  • EYES: REMOVE LASH EXTENSIONS at least 3-4 days prior to your procedure. This helps to minimize any extra sensitivity during the treatment. Rubbing the delicate skin of the eyelids can cause micro abrasions, which may lead to increased discomfort. Ensure to follow this guideline for a more pleasant experience.

  • EYES: REMOVE CONTACT LENSES. Bring your glasses to the appointment so you can see to drive home. For best results, do not reapply lenses until fully healed.

  • LIPS: COLD SORES or FEVER BLISTERS may break out if you don't prepare in advance! Ask your doctor for a prescription for an anti-viral medication to help minimize the risk. Take prior to, during and following your lip procedure. Taking 1,000 mg of Lysine per day also helps, but for best results, ask your doctor.

Ever had a cold sore?

You’ll need a prescription antiviral. Start meds before and after your appointment.

📸 TEXT PHOTOS TO 713-340-4422

If you have existing permanent makeup or hyperpigmentation concerns, please send photos for evaluation.

Beautiful permanent cosmetics should look natural, not tattooed.

Especially when it comes to eyebrows as they are the most important feature on the face. They instantly set the tone of  the face and bring an immediate, positive (or negative) impact to any face.  Poorly shaped or colored brow can wreck even the most beautiful of features.

Almost everyone wants NATURAL looking brows... but some don't realize that "perfect" brows do not look NATURAL. The empty spaces that seem too apparent in a 10x Magnification mirror, look NORMAL at a distance. Not every empty space should be filled in.  When done properly, this negative space is what makes the brows look believable, not stamped on!  You just have to resist the urge to fill every open spot! On the other hand, those open spots should not create an obvious gap either. Brows should flow like a soft river.

  • We always aim to create REALISTIC looking brows here ...  When brows are TOO perfectly marked off and measured, the brows can take on an unrealistic look We want them to be super sexy and exciting. Not RIGID & MECHANICAL SUPERHERO BROWS! You don't want your brows to walk in before you do. What's important, is the fine artistic detail, that will bring your face to life!

  • During your session, I will explain what I'm doing and ask for your feedback along the way. This will ensure that you are happy with both the contour and colors we have blended. The treatment will then begin and will take 1-3 hours, depending on the complexity of the procedure.

Microblading & Microshading has definitely taken the world by storm.

These soft, realistic looking strokes help to create the illusion of beautiful full brows by replacing a few missing strokes or simulating an entire brow! This is an awesome service for people suffering from any kind of brow hair loss. These strokes look so real, they can even fool the clients using a 10x magnifying mirror!

Whether you call it BROW MICROBLADING, MICRO STROKING, 3D BROWS, FEATHERED BROWS, etc... you should know that all of these techniques are still a form of cosmetic tattooing.  We try to duplicate the appearance of very natural looking brows by delicately depositing pigment into the superficial layer of the dermis. We use a hand tool with an extremely fine grouping of needles, much like a calligraphy pen. Our unique technique does not look like the cookie cutter style of perfectly traced lines. Our strokes can fool even the most discriminating eye.

REALITY CHECK

I wish the terms "permanent" and "semi-permanent" didn't exist. Both are misleading.  We call it permanent because it does not wash off. We call it semi-permanent, because it fades. But if someone tells you that it lasts forever or for only 18 months, BOTH CAN BE TRUE - AND BOTH CAN BE MISLEADING.  It all depends on the chemistry of your body and the relationship with your artist!  There is no magic date that your new brows are programmed to disappear.

BE CAREFUL WHO YOU TRUST.

If you will seek out SEASONED PROFESSIONALS who have completed comprehensive training, have years of successful procedures behind them, and who thoroughly understand this complex process - you will GREATLY minimize your risk of unhappiness!  It is also essential to check that the technicians carry the appropriate licenses. In the right hands, it can be a positively life changing experience. In the wrong hands, you might be spending a lot of money and time undoing an unfortunate decision.

Artistry in this field is largely unregulated in many states. And there are so many classes being formed by self proclaimed "masters" - it's mind boggling! ANYONE can pass out a certificate granting newbies virtual confidence.... The truth is, there is no way to learn this craft in 2-3 days. Even if an artist does beautiful work, you better watch for cross-contamination disasters. It's not easy to get in the habit of using aseptic techniques. And CLIENTS ARE EVEN LESS AWARE... My question to everyone is this:  What good are new brows, if you're now battling Hepatitis? It's take an acute awareness that extends far beyond sterile needles and single use disposables & disinfected skin prior to the service. . .   All it takes is one slip up to contaminate the next client.

PAIN CONTROL

Even though we use a numbing agent of 4% Lidocaine, there may be some discomfort associated with the procedure. This discomfort normally rates on a scale from 0-4 out of 10, pain level. Everyone is different, but we do our best to maintain your comfort level through distraction techniques and breaks if you need them. Microblading rarely produces serious complications

And along with any tattooing the skin, may come some associated risks such as the transmission of Blood Borne Pathogenic Organisms, such at Hepatitis and HIV. Allergic reactions to the pigments and or ointments are also a possibility, but are very unlikely.

CONSULTATIONS

It is recommended (but not mandatory) that you schedule a FREE PHONE CONSULTATION or

a PRIVATE CONSULTATION - And get an ALLERGY SKIN TEST if you have sensitive skin.
