What You Need to Know

Our lives are changing at a mind boggling pace and it's important to stay updated on this crisis so we can focus on how to best cope with these current events.  Also, the phrase, "WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER" HAS NEVER BEEN MORE TRUE...  so this is a GREAT time to show KINDNESS to others.

While the full extent of this global impact is still unfolding... you can expect a lot of misinformation to be circulating out there as well.  To help ensure that you're getting information from reliable sources, please stay updated on health guidelines from trusted organizations like:

Corona Virus Protocols

Future Safety Practices regarding our Services & Appointments.

In our industry, we are held to higher standards and protocols to insure we don't spread disease. So while we already following CDC guidelines, we are  and doubling down now to RAMP UP OUR NORMAL EVERYDAY safeguards to keep you safe from harm. These precautions are NOT made to scare you, but to bring you peace and so you can continue doing things that bring joy in all of this chaos.

  • Here's what we're doing to protect you  (and us) from the COVID-19 Virus:
    • We LOVE YOU but...We are resisting the urge to give you a hug or even a fist bump. How about a SMILE, NOD or a WINK instead?

      • We are asking you to pay very close attention to what your body is telling you! Look out for common symptoms of the coronavirus like a dry cough, shortness of breath and/or fever. We must ask you to reschedule if you're not feeling well!

      • We are checking clients AT THE DOOR with a THERMOMETER.  IF YOU HAVE A FEVER over 98.6 -  YOU GO HOME!

      • If you have traveled recently, please reschedule your appointment to a safer later date!

      • We already have hygiene stations in place throughout our office as well as a hand washing station.

      • We have plenty of space here to keep the 4-6 foot distance between bodies.

      • It's becoming increasingly important to remain diligent and flexible to your needs during this time and encourage you to reschedule to avoid unnecessary risks.

      • Ensure everyone washes their hands (for at least 20 seconds)  before AND after setting up or breaking down for a treatment. â€‹

      • When we work, we will wear disposable masks, gloves, sleeves and gowns.

      • Sanitization of all surfaces in the room with medical grade sanitizing wipes before and after setting up.

      • Wrapping anything I touch during procedure with Plastic or Barrier Film (This film covers lights, phone, camera, tray, etc...).

      • We will require our clients to wash hands when they arrive.

      • Change gloves at appropriate times.

      • Remove and dispose of gown, mask in a plastic bag to be disposed of properly.

      • We have posted reminders to avoid handshaking and touching your face.

      • As always, we add extra buffer time between appointments to thoroughly clean stations and disinfect all equipment used.

      • We are modifying payment options to promote online interactions and flexible appointment scheduling.

      • In general, we are requiring that our staff to stay home and clients to reschedule for 14 days following the last potential exposure, if any member of the household has (or may have) a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19.

To our Clients who Travel

  • We’re following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance and their Travel Advisory (https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices).

  • The Travel Advisory lists areas of the world that are heavily affected (Level 3), which will require those who have traveled to these locations to remain at home for a period of at least 14 days upon return. This applies also to anyone who is caring for an infected person. â€‹

Modified Payment Options

  • We are opting to digitize the payment process as much as possible, by requesting that all clients prepay online PRIOR to your appointment.

  • We think creating this step is a good approach to further minimize points of contact throughout our office.
