HOW WILL THEY LOOK? LIPS WILL PASS THROUGH SEVERAL STAGES! STAGE 1: During days 1-3, you will experience very swollen, moist & tender lips. The color will appear thick and heavy, with a slightly metallic taste. Swelling may be less or slightly more - everyone is different. They might appear to be thicker in texture, with a sore, hot feeling. Depending on the color implanted they may look excessively bright. This will go away! STAGE 2: After 3-4 days, the swelling should be significantly decreased and they will begin to dry out and feel extremely chapped, and still a bit tender. STAGE 3: After 4-5 days, they will have begun to dry out and will feel very chapped as the exfoliation stage is finalized. DO NOT PICK!!! STAGE 4: After 5-6 days, all lip color will DISAPPEAR! Then, as a few more days pass - you may notice a frosty, whitish-gray haze over the lips. |
